St. Patrick’s Day: Green Pistachio Dessert

This dessert is a make ahead of time….easy and refreshing for any meal!

One Hershey chocolate bar

2 (small) pkgs of instant pistachio pudding

60 Ritz crackers (crushed)

1 (12 oz) cool whip

2 sticks of butter

1 ½ cups milk

1 quart of vanilla ice cream

Melt butter and add the crushed crackers.  Press into a 9 X 13 pan and bake at 350’ for 10 mins.

Then let this cool completely.

Blend pudding, milk and half of the cool whip and ice cream.  Pour mixture over crust and freeze.

Top with remaining Cool whip and garnish with shredded chocolate and return to freezer.

Set out approximately 45 mins. prior to serving.  Return remaining (if there is any) dessert to freezer.
